英語なんて当たり前？

「あさって」は、「その日」＋「明日の後の」ですね。

すると、こうなります。

　　あさって

　　　　＝　the day（その日）＋　after tomorrow（明日の後の）

　　　　＝　　the day after tomorrow

---------------------------------------------------------------------


…いかがですか？

これが「論理的思考」ということでした。

論理的思考というのは、いくらでも応用が利くと言うことです。

基本形をしっかり押さえた後は、ある法則に基づいて、どんどん応用していけ
る、ということです。

つまり、日を表す表現を、「the day＋形容詞句」という基本形で捉えて、
後は応用で考えるということです。

これが、大人の学習法なんですね。

＊国際政治や国レベルの話題のときに使用されるregionalは近隣諸国やアジア地域など、大きな括りで使われることが多い。

military buildup = 軍事増強、防衛力強化

harness = 役立てる、生かす、利用する。

parliamentary committeeは議院の委員会という意味であるが、麻生外相が該当発言をしたのが、3月9日の参議院予算委員会の答弁なので、訳文に反映した。
